  • Heirloom Paintings

    The Heirloom Painting is an excellent choice whenever the client has an appreciation for one of a kind work of art to be a significant part of a room's decor, This technique is the perfect marriage of photography and oil or pastel paintings. While Travis creates these masterpieces using the software Painter X, they are not computer generated images. Every detail is created by hand using the skills he has acquired over the years studying with several world renown portrait artists. The completed images can be printed onto several subtrates including canvas, linen and watercolor paper. When framed properly, these images are worthy additions to any art collection, and will be a treasured heirloom for generations to come.

    This portfolio showcases actual pages taken from wedding books we've recently designed. While seeing an individual photograph is informative, gaining an insight into our vision for editing and design is equally important. We begin each page on a blank canvas using no preset templates, thus ensuring maximum creativity with no duplications. Every page we design is truly one of a kind. This approach is much more time intensive, but necessary for delivering the highly personal, customized photography that sets our studio apart.

  • Magic Craft is Northeast Georgia's longest operating and most versatile photographic studio.

    Purchased in 1955 by J.P. and Ruby Massey, it is currently owned and operated by their son Travis. Miss Ruby (now in her 90's) is still active in the studio, along with her daughter Janet Brown, Joyce Wheeler and associate photographer Tom Askew.

  • Travis' and Tom's extensive experience and talents provide clients with exceptional fine art images

    ranging from all types of portraiture, illustrative, commercial, weddings, and decor prints. You'll see many examples of these as you browse through the numerous portfolios in this site.

    Our sessions are creative, innovative and fun. From the initial session consultation to the delivery of the final images, you will experience professionalism with personal service.

Current Specials

• Wedding Services

  • At Magic Craft, we're passionate about capturing beautiful wedding images, and we're very good at it!

    We offer two options for our services: a DVD only product and a full coverage which includes a designer album.

  • The DVD coverage is designed for the small to moderate size wedding and for those clients who wish to do all the file prep, printing and book design themselves.

    This is a single photographer, four hour, one location coverage. We will deliver all edited files on a DVD along with a reference book of the images. The images can be posted on our website for family and friends to view and order. The investment for this option is $1250. After the wedding, we are often asked to produce a wedding album. and we are happy to do so. Depending on album size, number of pages and images desired and cover choice, the price of this service is usually between $700,00 and $1,500.

  • Our full coverage is designed for the moderate to large event and includes the services listed earlier

    but with at least two photographers, a six hour coverage and a premium leather designer album. This coverage begins at $3,500 and can be customized to fit any size event anywhere you wish (we love destination weddings in exotic locations!)
